At Mederic MindBody we respect the privacy of our clients and users. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Belgian law.
1. Data we collect
We collect the following types of personal data:
Personal identification data: name, email address, phone number and other contact details you voluntarily provide when you sign up for our services, workshops or newsletter.
Payment data: when you book a session or buy products (such as the Nervous System Guide), your payment details are processed by Stripe (stripe.com). We do not store credit card numbers, bank account numbers or other payment details.
Health and wellbeing information: when you take part in individual sessions, group sessions or workshops, we may collect information about your health that is relevant to the guidance. This information is treated confidentially.
Use of our website: such as IP address and browser information, to secure the website and keep anonymous visitor statistics.
2. How we use your data
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
- Delivering our services and products.
- Processing payments via Stripe.
- Sending emails via MailerLite (mailerlite.com), such as product delivery, updates or newsletters, provided you have given consent.
- Replying to messages you send us.
- Improving our services based on feedback and user behaviour.
- Complying with legal obligations.
3. How we protect your data
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
4. Sharing your data
We only share your personal data with the following parties, and only for the purposes stated:
Stripe (stripe.com): processes payments for our products and services. Stripe receives your payment details directly. We do not see or store this data.
MailerLite (mailerlite.com): processes your email address to send newsletters, product delivery and follow-up sequences. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every email.
Cloudflare (cloudflare.com): hosts our website and processes basic data about website visits (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to keep the site secure and fast.
Google (google.com): only with your consent. Google Analytics shows how the website is used (pages visited, how you arrived), Google Ads measures which ads work. Your IP address is not passed on to Google Analytics.
Meta (meta.com): only with your consent. Meta (Facebook, Instagram) measures which ads and posts bring people to the website.
What you fill in on the nervous system scan is never shared with Google or Meta.
Legal obligations: where required by law, we may share data with the competent authorities.
We never sell your data to third parties.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access: you have the right to know which data we hold about you.
Rectification: you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erasure: you can ask us to delete your data, insofar as this is legally possible.
Restriction: you can request that the processing of your data be restricted.
Portability: you have the right to receive a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format.
Objection: you can object to the processing of your data for direct marketing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority: dataprotectionauthority.be.
6. Cookies
With your consent we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and Google Ads and Meta (Facebook, Instagram) to measure which ads work. You choose via the cookie banner and can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Without consent these cookies are not set.
A necessary cookie remembers your choice so we don’t have to ask again. The MailerLite newsletter forms may store functional data in your browser so the form works correctly.
You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how the website works.
7. Retention periods
We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Email addresses for the newsletter are kept until you unsubscribe. Payment data is managed and stored by Stripe according to its own retention policy.
8. Links to other websites
Our website may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites.
9. Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy. Changes are published on this page with an updated date at the top.
